Last weekend was incredibly special for me, personally and professionally. I was honored to photograph my little sister Tayla’s wedding to Jared Gaines. The celebration took place at the breathtaking Fiddleback Ranch in Meeteetse, WY, a picturesque spot nestled an hour south of Cody, Wyoming.

The day was filled with joy, love, and the stunning natural beauty of the ranch. From the rolling hills to the rustic charm of the venue, everything came together perfectly to create an unforgettable backdrop for their big day.

One of the most special parts of the wedding was that all five of us sisters were together. My sisters came from Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, and North Dakota, making quite the journey to be there. Seeing everyone together, especially on such an important day, was truly heartwarming.

Another unforgettable moment was when Tayla and Jared announced at the reception that they are expecting their second baby! The excitement and joy in the room were palpable, and I captured some beautiful images of their pregnancy announcement that I will be sharing below.

Tayla looked absolutely radiant in her gown, and Jared’s face lit up with love as he saw her walk down the aisle. The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, set against the ranch’s sweeping landscapes, which provided a perfect setting for such a meaningful moment.

The food was another highlight of the day. Chubby’s BBQ provided a delicious spread, smoking the BBQ on-site, which tasted amazing and filled the air with an incredible aroma.

We also took some breathtaking sunset pictures out in the grass fields with the big irrigation equipment and mountains in the background. It was absolutely gorgeous. Tayla grew up rodeoing, so taking photos with some of the horses from Fiddleback Ranch was really special and meaningful for her.

The wedding rings were unique and beautiful, with Tayla’s wedding band featuring turquoise, perfectly matching the elegant Western theme of the day. The men wore matching jeans and white shirts, while the women were in champagne-colored dresses. The flowers were all white roses, adding a touch of elegance to the rustic setting.

As the evening unfolded, the celebration continued with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and dancing under the stars. The Fiddleback Ranch offered a beautiful setting and a sense of warmth and community that made everyone feel at home.
