LeAnne and Tanner, two high school sweethearts, got engaged just recently overlooking a coolie on Tanner’s family’s farm. An agronomist and a farmer rancher it sounds like the start of a beautiful love story if you ask me.

We started off their engagement session on Tanner’s family farm just south of Burlington, ND. I absolutely love when my couples choose their own location for their engagement sessions. It allows their photos to be so much more personal. After photographing these two in their first outfit at Tanner’s farm, we took a quick 10-minute drive over to LeAnne’s parent’s place, where her dad met us with his restored 1950s (? they totally told me the year, I forgot I was too excited about the lighting) Chevy pickup.

LeAnne knocked it out of the park with outfits. The caramel shirt she choose for her second outfit poped so beautifully against her dad’s pickup. (Also I was wearing the exact same shirt as her what are the odds of that?).
