We had to reschedule Lauren and Cole’s engagement session 2 different times due to Stanley North Dakota’s crazy weather, but I am so glad we waited. I asked Lauren about the proposal and heres the story!

“We had decided to exchange christmas gifts with each other on Christmas morning. We got most of the way through gifts, and he kept saying that we had to go to the farm to get his gift to me. He made it sound like it was this big package. Cole’s little sister had stayed the night. Cole gave me this huge box. I started unwrapping it only to find another wrapped box. The boxes just kept coming and when it got all the way down to a small ring box, I was freaking out inside! This was the moment! I opened the box only to find it completely empty, I’m sure my jaw was wide open as I looked up to find Cole down on one knee with the ring in his hand, all while Cole’s little sister was recording the entire thing!”
