When I met up with Salina and Pat on the south side of the river, I never imagined our meeting would show me just how small the world is. I knew before the session that Salina is a younger sister to Sasha, one of my friends and fellow RA’s from college, but it turns out that my sister-in-law/best friend was roommates with Pat’s cousin, and Salina was actually at my wedding almost 9 years ago! – I had the flu so I didn’t get to talk to as many guests as I would have liked! Salina came to the wedding with her older sister Sasha so I had no idea she was there!

Salina and Pat will be getting married next summer in Minot and I’m so thrilled to be working with these two sweethearts, and their pup named Charlie! Though we had a blast at the engagement session, I think Charlie had the most fun, swimming, playing in the sand and mud, and just living her best life! Salina picked a beautiful location! She saw a styled shoot done by White Lace Bridal a few weeks back and when she went in and bought her wedding dress from them she asked where the styled shoot had taken place!

It was worth the drive to the other side of the river for these beautiful sunset photos! The water was so calm! Pat was a champ and got both pairs of shoes wet walking through the water for the shot! It was so wonderful to meet these two and I am absolutely thrilled to be working with them next year again too!
