Kelsey and Chip’s Camp UMM wedding was country chic to the core, from the baby’s breath that lined the pews to the soft pink bridesmaid’s dresses.  The ceremony was held in the amazing chapel at camp umm. Natural light floods the chapel, and the wood beams are not something you find every day.  The personalized touches could be found throughout the entire ceremony, from the bark-wrapped vase on the altar with K+C etched into it to the MR and MRS box that held the rings.  My absolute favorite part of the Camp UMM chapel is the three story fireplace in the back of the chapel.  The wooden cross that hangs on the front of the stone fireplace is so amazing.

The country chic theme was so fitting for this western couple.

 

I have known Kelsey for some time through the North Dakota High School Rodeo Association.  I was so honored when she asked me to photograph their wedding.  The country chic theme was so fitting for this Western couple.  Kelsey is a hairdresser in Williston, North Dakota. Though we don’t usually suggest that brides do their own hair and makeup on the big day, Kelsey did her own, and it was flawless! Definitely check her out if you are looking for amazing bridal hair in the Williston area!

The reception was held at the Williston Fairgrounds Building in Williston, ND.  This location is amazing for a medium to large guest list, with plenty of nearby hotels for guests to choose from.  It’s about a 15 minute drive from Camp UMM, a beautiful drive down a winding road the back way into Williston.  Kelsey and Chips’ bride and groom photos were just behind the Williston Fairgrounds Building.  It looks like we are way out of the country, but I promise it’ll be just a quick walk behind the building!  These photos were taken just after the bride and groom had finished eating while guests were still finishing up, and it took about 20 minutes to take, so no one missed them while we were taking sunset photos!
