I have known Katie for most of my life.  Her grandma and my grandma were sisters, so we’re cousins! We went to high school together, we were both cheerleaders for the boys Tioga High School Pirate Basketball team.  We both played clarinet in the marching band.  I’ve watched Katie go through highs and lows in her life. I’ve seen Katie jump up and down screaming with excitement as we cheered on the THS boys as they won district.  I cried with Katie when her brother, my classmate, Chantz died.  But I don’t think I’ve ever seen Katie this happy.

If you have ever met Katie you know she’s a bit of a chatterbox, she is out spoken, strong willed, smart, and the hardest working person I know.  The first time she told me about Marty, she all of a sudden got really shy, and was blushing hard core! Watching the two of them during our engagement session, you can tell they were meant for each other! They both put each other as ease, and Marty can keep up with her thought process!

I am so incredibly honored to be photographing their wedding next week!  With my sister and sister in law in the wedding party, it might feel like a family reunion!  What can I say, it’s a small town!
