Part 3 of 4 for the best of family photos from 2018! October can be so unpredictable when it comes to weather in North Dakota! We ended up rescheduling the Knudson family’s session due to wind and snow, but as you can tell that snow didn’t hang around too long!

Moe Family

I have worked with the Moe Family since Jarrett was 3 months old, and now I’m capturing him losing his first teeth! Missy did such an amazing job with outfits for the entire family! Northern Charm Boutique of Powers Lake, ND for the win! We photographed this session just south of Tioga, ND at their home, which is actually just down the road from where my grandparents lived! Last summer my daughter Sky played Tball with Jarrett, so I got to hang out with Missy and Maci on the bleachers a lot last summer! It was fun to actually get to see Maci and Jarrett interact with each other and I think this second photo of them with the Tonka Trucks captures their friendship so perfectly! We made sure to capture these two in nice clean posed photos before letting them run loose in the sandbox, but I’m so glad we caught these two being who they really are!

We also had some extended family show up for photos at the end of their session, so you will see Grandmas and Grandpas below too! Everyone’s Christmas Cards turned out so awesome!

Post Family

Meeting the Post family at the McGregor Dam near their hope was awesome! I have never actually been to the McGregor Dam, but I’m definitely adding it to my list of new locations, so much variety in a really condensed space! Poor Gage was not having a great day, but we ended up with some pretty awesome photos at the end when we headed over to the playground!

Knudson Family

This was the first time I had met Abbie, but I actually graduated high school with Austin #smalltown right! I haven’t seen him in years, and I have to say seeing him with a shaved head was odd! Their two boys had so much fun looking for rabbits in the trees! We had actually rescheduled this session due to rain and wind, but I’m so happy we did! It was a bit chilly but so worth it! I loved the brown tights Abbie chose to go with her mustard dress to keep her warmer durring the session, such a fun fall acessory!
