I am excited to be offering very limited family photo sessions this summer and fall.  These will be full family photo sessions. Keep reading to find out whats included in the full family photo session.

Welcome Packet

– the welcome packet is a digital packet that is full of information to help you prepare for your family photo session! You will find tips on outfits, choosing locations, what to expect during and after your session.

1-hour session at a location of your choice

– I love letting families choose a location that is special to them!  Maybe it is on the river because that’s where you love spending time as a family.  Maybe camping is more your jam! If you aren’t sure what to pick, don’t worry, I have some amazing locations I can suggest and we can work together to find one that is right for your family! I love to travel! Anywhere within 50 miles of Tioga, ND is included in your session fee.  If you want to go further then that, there is a 50 cent per mile fee.

30-35 Images

– Each and every one of your images will be retouched by hand and delivered to you via digital download following your session premiere. These are the best of the best images from your family photo session!

Premiere Night

-Premiere night is one of my favorite parts of family photo sessions.  This is when you will get to come into my studio, and view your beautiful portraits.  That night we will go through the complete ordering process together.  We can design your Christmas cards, and pick out images for an album or image box. The best part is you get to see what these products not only look like but what they feel like too. I have samples of the entire product line in the studio, and I’m here to help you through the entire process.  I won’t make you try to figure out how to navigate some clunky ordering website by yourself! Premiere nights are scheduled 7-14 days after your session!

Cost

I’m doing things a little different than in the past.  The cost for these full family sessions is $350.  This is a bit of an increase, but it does include your digital images! If you decide to invest in products during your premiere night you will have a $350 credit towards the purchase of any of the collections.  If you choose to purchase a la carte you will get premiere night pricing which is a 25-50% discount from my website pricing. Collections start at $600.  Prints start at $30.

FAQ

What time will my session start on the day I book?  Session start times will depend on what day you book. I  like to start sessions about 2 hours before the sun sets.  Since we are so far north, this time will be different if you choose a July session compared to an October session. In July we will start about 7:30 PM in October it will be closer to 5:00 PM

What if the weather is bad the day of our session?  We will reschedule if the weather is an issue.  I get it we live in North Dakota and sometimes the weather is just not ideal!

What if I need to reschedule my session? In the event that you need to reschedule please contact me ASAP. Life is crazy, and emergencies happen.  I will give you 3 dates to choose from for your reschedule. Sessions must be photographed by October 15th, unless otherwise stated in writing.

When and where is the premiere?  About 3 days after your session I will email you with a couple of dates for you to choose from for your premiere.  Premieres are held in the evenings at my studio inside the Ray Mall in Ray, ND.

Do I have to purchase additional products during my premiere night?  No, you are not required to purchase any products.  I do however believe strongly in the power of printed photos. There is not much that compares to the power of sitting down curled up with a photo album years down the road looking back on just how much your babies have grown over the years.

In today’s time-pressured world it is becoming increasingly difficult to spend good quality family time, however, when we look at photographs, we remember how we felt when that picture was taken.

How do I book my family photo session date? 

Email me at chelsy.weisz@gmail.com with the session date you would like to book.  Please include your name and if you already know where you would like to have your session. I will send you over a reservation email where you will fill out a quick questionnaire, sign your contract and pay your session fee.  Sessions will be on a first come first serve basis. Your session date is not reserved until your session fee has been paid.
